I can't even believe it's been three weeks since the last post. We've had a lot of unexpected issues arrise and every time I think I'll post a few items...something pops up to prevent that. It is my every intention to catch up...it just might take a bit more time to do so.

Sorry I dropped off on the posts - obvious reasons though. We're home and resting and will just wait for the next call to come. Thx everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Really means so much to both of us :)

Alright - saw the surgeon much sooner this morning than expected. No complications with Scott, but complications with the donated pancreas. Surgery/transplant was called off for today. Scott will stay at the top of the list so we could be doing this again before the weeks out.

So a bit of an exciting week for us here at the Foreman-Miller household - yeah?! Now that we are clear for the tranplant Scott and I are moving forward with getting everything planned - which requires a lot of phone calls. We've notified both my parents as well as Scott's that we are active now, which means EVERYONE h...as to answer their calls - whether they want to or not. Scott parents reside in FL and will have to be ready to go when the call comes in. It's a two day drive for them to get to ATL. So we've got my Dad coming in when we get the call to be with me at the hospital during the surgery, Scott's Aunt and Uncle coming in to stay with us till Scott's parents arrive. All bases covered - check (I think so anyway). In addition to that Emory has a "Charity" program for their patients. They sent us the 18 page form to fill out. If we qualify Scott will get some of his 20% out of pocket cost (at Emory only) covered - I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We'll know within three weeks. Thx!
